Festival Fun
Fabulous balloon art by an engaging entertainer: it's just what a great festival needs!
dewayne Reynolds has been delighting crowds for years! Not only is he fast (REALLY fast), not only are his balloon creations amazing, not only is he a delight to see working, he creates fun lasting memories that will have people talking about how great your event is!
At large events, dewayne works from a step ladder (and with a rope line, if needed) to turn waiting in line from a potential chore into a show. It's fun while you wait! He multitasks as a strolling magician, occasional singer, frequent kazoo player, and an unstoppable monkey juggler*.
The Dr. Magical Balloons Festively Fantastic, Phantasmogorical, Fun Time Balloon Show plays great on the festival stage. Several different shows are available now, and more are being written. With adequate notice, you can have a show specifically tailored to meet your needs. You can see some of last year's library show here. Pair the stage show with the balloon line to give your crowd an unforgettable experience!
*dewayne is not now nor has he ever been a monkey juggler. He can barely juggle scarves. He's never even held a monkey. He'd really like to hold a monkey, or at least shake a monkey's hand. Sorry for the lie. It's just wishful thinking. If you or anyone you know has a monkey who wants to shake hands, get in touch with me immediately! Thank you and good day.
Dig into Reading! The Dr. Magical Balloons Festively Fantastic, Phantasmagorical, Fun Time Balloon Show is all new for 2013! There will be big digging machines, hungry golems, buried treasure, and more! Check out some of last year's show for an idea of the fun in store for this year. The show is fun for all ages, but is designed with elementary aged children in mind. If I'm not booked at your library, call them and let them know you'd love to see me in your town! Programs for Schools and ChurchesI offer educational programs suitable for schools and churches. My stories are educational and entertaining. My programs consist of short, interconnected stories. This allows to program length to be flexible, so that I can provide a longer or shorter program, depending upon your needs. I aim to please. There are videos of several of my stories. Here are a couple of stories from a church program in Auburn, AL from July of 2011. I would love to talk to you and discuss what sort of special program I can put together for you. I'm sure I can provide you with an experience your crowd will remember and that you can be proud to have provided. New Look, New Name, New ShowsAs you may have noticed, I have changed the name of the site and have adopted a new stage name. I chose dRmagic as a name years ago because someone needed a name for an invoice, and just never changed it. It was a pun on my actual name, dewayne Reynolds, and the fact that I planned to pursue a Ph.D., and that I enjoyed doing magic. Over time, the name d, R, magic never stuck. It was always Dr. Magic. Over time, I have become much better known as a balloon artist than as a magician. As a result, I am changing my stage name to Dr. Magical Balloons. Along with this change, I have added a new show. You may have seen the videos for my balloon storytelling. I've enjoyed doing them, and people have enjoyed seeing them. I'm adding more stories to my repertoire all the time, and plan to include even more variety. For the record, though, you can still call me "dewayne" as long as you know how to spell it. You Tube ChannelI have even more videos on my new YouTube channel. More will be posted as more are made and older ones are transferred from my old personal channel. Check them out. If you don't mind wading through a flood of early videos and really want to see the development of a performance style, you can check out my old page. |
